I am refering to a function call like this:

I tried to see the content of it by typing:

but it gives nothing. How can I see it's content ?

str(Species ~ .) will tell you that it's a formula. The help page for the svmlight() function should tell you how it is used.

If this is svmlight in klaR, it seems not to. But ?formula will definitely tell you how to interpret the formula.
