I can't answer your question, but I did notice the CRAN page for the MCPMod package states, "The MCPMod package will not be further developed, all future development of the MCP-Mod methodology will be done in the DoseFinding R-package." http://cran.r-project.org/web/packages/MCPMod/index.html
