Hi all I'm trying install R from EPEL repo on Scientific Linux. It's going together texlive rpm dependencies also from repo, but I already have installed TexLive with tlmgr from CTAN mirror and I don't want texlive rpms from linux repo. So... Question is... How can I install R without these deps and at the same time work in without any problems in R and TexLive.
You might get an answer to your question here, but this is more a question about your Linux distribution, and you will likely have better luck asking on a forum dedicated to it. R should be perfectly happy working with the TexLive you already have.
