Dear Ravindra, My guess is that you're using the 32-bit version of R for Windows rather than the 64-bit version. Read question 2.9 in the R FAQ for Windows <https://cran.r-project.org/bin/windows/base/rw-FAQ.html#There-seems-to-be-a-limit-on-the-memory-it-uses_0021>.
If this is the case, the solution is to use the 64-bit version of R, which normally would be installed along with the 32-bit version. I hope that this helps, John ----------------------------------------------------------------- John Fox Professor Emeritus McMaster University Hamilton, Ontario, Canada Web: https://socialsciences.mcmaster.ca/jfox/ > -----Original Message----- > From: R-help [mailto:r-help-boun...@r-project.org] On Behalf Of Ravindra > Bhingarde > Sent: Sunday, May 5, 2019 9:42 AM > To: r-help@r-project.org > Cc: ps_choug...@rediffmail.com > Subject: [R] Memmory issue > > Dear sir > > We are use R software R 3.6.0 version with intel core i7 9th gen processor > 16gb memory but r application utilize 3 gb ram .So kindly give solution for > same > > Ravindra > 9011096015 > > [[alternative HTML version deleted]] > > ______________________________________________ > R-help@r-project.org mailing list -- To UNSUBSCRIBE and more, see > https://stat.ethz.ch/mailman/listinfo/r-help > PLEASE do read the posting guide http://www.R-project.org/posting- > guide.html > and provide commented, minimal, self-contained, reproducible code. ______________________________________________ R-help@r-project.org mailing list -- To UNSUBSCRIBE and more, see https://stat.ethz.ch/mailman/listinfo/r-help PLEASE do read the posting guide http://www.R-project.org/posting-guide.html and provide commented, minimal, self-contained, reproducible code.
