Another option could be sink(). See ?sink for more information. Here is an
example:
x = list(VAR1 = data.frame(x=rnorm(10), y=rnorm(10)),
VAR2 = data.frame(x=rnorm(10), y=rnorm(10)))
sink("C:/list1.txt")
x
sink()
