I see you use dplyr and ggplot2. Are you looking for something like this:

test_data <- test_data %>%
  group_by(year) %>%
  mutate(cumsum_value = cumsum(value),

ggplot(test_data) +
  aes(x = x_pos, y = cumsum_value, colour = year) +
  geom_point()
```
