While on the subject of scripts... Can someone suggest a strategy for
plotting something in an X11 window with R in a Unix script, such that
the plot window will persist after the script exits? i.e.:
#!/bin/sh
R --slave --vanilla <<EOF
X11()
plot something
do something to preserve the image
q()
EOF
