I'm not sure of the correct term, but in essence it is the equivalent to the frame in the basic plots or might be described as the bounding box to each plot. That is when you look at 16 plots on a page these frames (boxes) make up a grid.

If you want to change the colors, that should be doable. What exactly is the problem ? Do you want something more ? Deepayan I think the "between = list(x = 1, y = 1) etc" will work nicely as an immediate solution. Thank you Andy and Deepayan for your help on the first question. I think Deepyan's answer to my ramble about POSIXct in lattice gives me all the information I required. There's probably as much finger (brain) trouble on my part, as there is anything else. ______________________________________________ [EMAIL PROTECTED] mailing list https://www.stat.math.ethz.ch/mailman/listinfo/r-help ______________________________________________ [EMAIL PROTECTED] mailing list https://www.stat.math.ethz.ch/mailman/listinfo/r-help
