It's going to be possible only if the packages use the common subset of the S language implemented in both R and S-PLUS: and the porter (you) will have to know how to check that. It also depends on which version of S-PLUS. But in brief R CMD Rdconv can convert the help files to Ssgml, and less successfully to Sd. Any C files may need conversion to S headers. The R files may work. After that you install in S-PLUS in the usual way. For more details see `S Programming' and its on-line complements. -- Brian D.
