I would like to thank all of you who replied to my last question regarding the generation of random numbers. I have read much about the theory and have been fortunate to find some rng code. Now my task lies in testing the randomness of these rng's. In the literature, there are many tests that can be done. Are there any of the more sophisticated tests (ie like the birthday spacing, or serial correlation test) in R? I couldn't find any but thought someone with a bit more experience would have a better insight. Thank you David
