Hi 

If you are using windows then do this: 

Basically you need to add your oracle database as an ODBC data source. 

Control Panel -> Administrative tools  -> Data Sources (ODBC)

Select the System DSN tab and then Add. Select which type of Data source
i.e. Oracle database. Then follow the instructions.
