As others have pointed out, you need to give us some more details. There is an artile about simulation of ecological dynamics in last December's R News, which may be of some help:

If you're simulating something like a coalescence process, then it might be easier to use some specialist software. In that case, googling with a few relevant terms might be the way to go.
