Sorry if this has been asked before but I did not find it in the archives.
I would like to add a horizontal display of mean and SEM on Hmisc ecdf plots done by group (ie variate~treatment).
Has anyone written some code to do that ?

It is customary to show quantiles on ecdfs, and the functions make that easy. You can add other points or reference lines to an existing plot easily if using the non-lattice ecdf. To do it with the lattice version ecdf.formula you will have to change its default panel function.
