The vischeck.com web site provides examples that show color-normal people what the world looks like to people with different color deficiencies; I found it fascinating. It even allows you to submit your own graphics to get an idea what they might look like to others. Now I might not have to bother my friend down the hall so often ...
The `dichromat' package in R also does this.
