Sean, I'll check out the PostgreSQL Pl/R.
I've poked through the postings on batch processing and don't get it yet. I'm new enough to each of these tools that I know I'm missing a couple of key bits that pull it all together. I need to play so I can construct a specific intellegent question. Thank you for your reply.
