I'd agree that 7 curves of different line type and/or colour would make the whole story clearer. More informative labels would help also. What is a "row" and a "column"? The rainbow eye candy adds no information and consequently does nothing to improve the information to ink ratio. Of course, that's not important in a world where form takes precedence over substance which I think is what is called "the real world".
