If you do not know about the R function that is shown to you in response to your question, wouldn't it help to check out its help page on your own first? There's a short lag between package upload and its showing up on CRAN, and possibly longer lag for that to show up on various mirror sites. If and when I announcement, I'd wait til I see it show up at least on the master site before posting, or ask the users to check for availability.
