have a look at dev2bitmap I they are already on the screen.
Or let them go directly to a pdf file.
pdf("mcmc.pdf")
dev.off()
or to multiple png files
png("mcmc1.pdf")
dev.off()
png("mcmc2.pdf")
dev.off()
