Hello there, I had been learning to use R for some time and I am trying to install it on Ubuntu 5.04 Linux. I downloaded the tarball, there was some problem with the installation. Perhaps someone who faced similar problems might help me.
I downloaded the latest release R Version 2.2.1 from their website.
