Hello R users, I'm running R version 2.2.1 with a fedora core 4 linux os.
I want to use dpss (discrete prolate spheroidal sequences) tapers for consistent spectral estimation. Such tapers can be computed using the dpss.taper() function from the waveslim package (Brandon Whitcher 2004). The function computes the tapers, but I didn't manage to get the eigenvalues which are associated with. The documentation indicates 6 values for the output of this function and I only get one. How can I get these eigenvalues ?
