Hi, I have been using R under Windows but have started to use R (ver. 2.3.0,) under Linux (linux-gnu).
I have been saving my workspace and I notice that I sometimes end up with 2 version of the .RData file: .RData and .Rdata. Can someone explain what is happening? I am not sure which one is loaded so I have ended up losing data by deleting the wrong file. I think the saved file should be .RData. Thank you.
