Your question can be interpreted a couple of ways, Gabor gave you the answer to one of those interpretations. Another interpretation of your question makes it the same as one that was asked earlier in the week with the subject: "PLotting R graphics/symbols without user x-y scaling", looking at that question and the replies to it should help if that is the correct interpretation of your question.
