Hi All,
I am still new and so good with R. I am looking for anyone who can help
me with a script that can read and merge two ascii rainfall datasets but
discarding all the similar/repeated years within them. The new dataset
has missing months but it has a longer period than the old data which
however contains those missing months for some of those missing in the
new data set. If the script can be able to write the missing years by
assigning some arbitrary value like -99.9. The data is in the list type
of format i.e. year month day rainfall.
