I am new to creating R packages and would welcome some advice.

I am trying to update a package but my submission fails and am not sure how to
proceed.
The old `stgam` package (v 0.0.1.2) is failing - see
https://cran.r-project.org/web/checks/check_results_stgam.html
The new `stgam` package (v 1.0.0) is not failing - see
https://win-builder.r-project.org/incoming_pretest/stgam_1.0.0_20250509_045337/Windows/00check.log
 and
https://win-builder.r-project.org/incoming_pretest/stgam_1.0.0_20250509_045337/Debian/00check.log

I would like to upload my v 1.0.0 to CRAN. How do I resolve this?

With thanks, Lex

Dear maintainer,

package stgam_1.0.0.tar.gz does not pass the incoming checks automatically,
please see the following pre-tests (additional issue checks):

https://win-builder.r-project.org/incoming_pretest/stgam_1.0.0_20250509_045337/Windows/00check.log
Status: OK
Debian:
https://win-builder.r-project.org/incoming_pretest/stgam_1.0.0_20250509_045337/Debian/00check.log
Status: OK

Last released version's CRAN status: OK: 3, NOTE: 10
See: https://cran.r-project.org/web/checks/check_results_stgam.html

CRAN Web: https://cran.r-project.org/web/packages/stgam/index.html

More details are given in the directory:

https://win-builder.r-project.org/incoming_pretest/stgam_1.0.0_20250509_045337/

The files will be removed after roughly 7 days.

No strong reverse dependencies to be checked.

Best regards,
