Hello.
I've tried to install R on ubuntu and all succeeded untill I searched for
the icon to execute, simply didn't appear anywhere.
I wrote in terminal:
*sudo gedit /etc/apt/sources.list*
then
added with :
*##Estadística con R
deb http://cran.es.r-project.org/bin/linux/ubuntu karmic/*
saved,
*sudo apt-get update*
and
*sudo apt-get install r-base*
as instructions say.
Then I tried to update with the GUI and this message came out:
*W: Error de GPG: http://cran.es.r-project.org karmic/ Release Las firmas
siguientes no se pudieron verificar porque su llave pública no está
disponible: NO_PUBKEY D67FC6EAE2A11821*
And I can't find the way to add the Key. So I'm stuck!! Please give me a
hand.
I'm at university studying telematics in Mérida, Spain, and many students as
me are trying to use ubuntu as a platform to run all our programs such as R
and trying to go the Open Source way rather than using other os.
