I think when I updated jags to 2.0.0, I also noticed an updated rjags package
(which I am not debianising).  So try Martyn's site instead:
that is

        http://www-fis.iarc.fr/~martyn/software/jags/

or equally

        https://sourceforge.net/projects/mcmc-jags/files/

instead of the (possibly stale) version at CRAN.  CCing Martyin just in
case...
