Hi, I'm taking my first forays into the world of parallel computing since I'm having to deal with some RAM eating computations, and would like to take advantage of my 2 computers with AMD64 quad cores. I read HPC task view and got some hints (installed openmpi-bin and r-cran-rmpi packages on my sid system). However, I'm at a bit of a loss as what to read/study to learn how to use all this. Any pointers would be appreciated.
