Dear R-sig users,
I have independent variables in the form of pairwise resistance matrices from
Circuitscape that I would like to use in a dbRDA analysis using (eg. using
capscale() in vegan). Does anyone know of a way that I can transform a pairwise
matrix into a matrix that can be used as independent variables in a RDA
analysis? I read a paper that z-transformed and standardized a pairwise
resistance matrix but I'm not sure how to do that. Any help would be greatly
appreciated. Below is an example of a resistance matrix I am trying to transform
