When I use the contour function with an object of type kriging to create a filled contour plot:
loci <- expand.grid(seq(0,1,l=51), seq(0,1,l=51)) kc <- krige.conv(s100, loc=loci,krige=krige.control(cov.pars=c(1, .25))) contour(kc, filled=TRUE) and then add the contour lines to this plot: contour(kc, add=TRUE) the latter appears stretched in the direction of the x axis and does not overlay the former as it should. Is this a common problem? Any suggestions? Dan.
