Hi Vero, I would start with reinstalling package lwgeom.

Dear all, I have just updated my laptop to fedora 34 and the only problems I've encountered so far are related to stars and tmap updates. This is the error I get in both cases: Error in dyn.load(file, DLLpath = DLLpath, ...) : unable to load shared object '/home/veroandreo/R/x86_64-redhat-linux-gnu-library/4.0/lwgeom/libs/lwgeom.so': libproj.so.15: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory Calls: <Anonymous> ... asNamespace -> loadNamespace -> library.dynam -> dyn.load Execution halted ERROR: lazy loading failed for package ‘stars’ * removing ‘/home/veroandreo/R/x86_64-redhat-linux-gnu-library/4.0/stars’ Warning in install.packages : installation of package ‘stars’ had non-zero exit status Searching around I found a (maybe related) issue reported for sf ( https://github.com/r-spatial/sf/issues/1670), but here sf installed just fine and also rgdal. GRASS also compiles well, btw, and gdal-devel and proj-devel are in place. I tried the solution proposed in the issue (`remotes::install_github("r-spatial/stars", configure.args= '--with-proj-lib=/lib64')`), but it does not work either. I guess it's because of this one: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1958191. Right? Is there anything else I could try/test/report? I really appreciate your help :) Best, Vero [[alternative HTML version deleted]] _______________________________________________ R-sig-Geo mailing list R-sig-Geo@r-project.org https://stat.ethz.ch/mailman/listinfo/r-sig-geo
