Dear all,
We’re excited to announce our upcoming online course: "Mapping and Spatial
Operations in R: Using R as a GIS", scheduled from 13-17 January 2025.

This course offers a comprehensive introduction to using R as a Geographic
Information System (GIS) for automating and reproducing spatial data analysis.
It combines theoretical lessons with practical hands-on sessions, providing
participants with the skills to map and analyze environmental and biodiversity
data efficiently.
Who Should Attend?
This course is ideal for researchers and practitioners eager to script
reproducible and automatable spatial analysis workflows in R. A basic
familiarity with R is recommended, but all scripts will be provided and
explained in detail.
Learning Outcomes
By the end of this course, you will be able to:
Understand GIS basics, mapping, and cartographic projections.
Import spatial data into R and create detailed maps.
