Alex, It depends. If you change the resolution directly, with "res", you will loose the cell values because it affects the number of rows and columns. This is not the case if you change it indirectly via "extent" (because in that case the number of cells stays the same). You can also use "aggregate" or "disaggregate" to change to resolution and compute new cell values. Robert
