For a custom, specific purpose GUI, one could create the user interface in a
webpage. The package Rpad has served me excellently, and the interface was
quite complicated in the end.
Plus, a customer is quick to open a webpage, especially if R resides on a
server, rather than installing R and various packages in their own computers.
