Just FYI or WARNING for all Mac OS X, R and RStudio users!!!  
Apparently it seems that if you update R, it will try to prompt an  
automatic update with RStudio that is uncompatible with Macs. I will  
advance to the R console for my next project.

Thanks again for your attention. I was able to retrace my files and  
original console. Backed up 3 times already. After today, I still love  
R and the support network of dedicated folks :)

Thank you so much Michael Weylandt and everyone who replied! No tears  
were shed.
