I'm trying to build a plot. It works fine until I add categorical variables to
mapping (reproducible on histograms, for example, and doesn't really depend on
dataframe size). For example: This works:

ggplot(diamonds, aes(carat, price)) + layer(geom = 'point')
This doesn't:

ggplot(diamonds, aes(carat, price, colour = cut)) + layer(geom = 'point')
The version of R in the latest one, ggplot2 also is new, so I have no idea
what's wrong.
