Dear List, I foolishly upgraded to the new Mac OS and am having trouble building packages from source code. I tried to follow Prof. Ripley's very helpful advice here ( https://stat.ethz.ch/pipermail/r-sig-mac/2013-October/010359.html), but was unable to install the older versions of the Command-line Tools for Xcode with the new OS.
I've done my best to read through the various manual pages (and made sure to make all the modifications outlined here: http://cran.r-project.org/doc/manuals/r-patched/R-admin.html#OS-X-packages), but to no avail. Is anyone else experiencing issues with this?
