Hi Simon:

First, thanks for all of your hard work on the Mac version.  But, I know I can 
be blind, and probably am, but I just did the update, and neither in the 
original installer  nor in the “Package Installer” menu once I did the update 
do I see the option you mentioned ("Select packages from R 3.1”  in the GUI).
