This morning, R (2.2.1) was working fine. I quit the R GUI, opened
it later on, but R failed to completely load. The program opened up
fine, the working directory changed to the appropriate one, and then
the GUI quits. The typical welcome (with version info, etc) does
not come up. There was no crash error in the Finder, and I can't
seem to find one in R's crash log. I am able to call R from the
terminal. I tried downloading the nightly build but this doesn't
seem to work either. I have also tried installing previous versions
of R (2.0, 2.1, 2.2.0) and the same problem ensues (note, I can call
R from the terminal with the earlier versions, too). I am running
the system below. Any thoughts?
