And subsequently tried to update all my installed packages using update all from the R package installer, which resulted in the following: ...[downloading packages went fine] trying URL 'http://cran.at.r-project.org/bin/macosx/powerpc/contrib/2.3/zoo_1.0-6.tgz' Content type 'application/x-tar' length 627489 bytes opened URL ================================================== downloaded 612Kb Error in sprintf(gettext(fmt, domain = domain), ...) : argument is missing, with no default In addition: Warning message: cannot create HTML package index in: make.packages.html() tar: ~/Library/R/library/file77a4044d: Cannot chdir: No such file or directory tar: Error is not recoverable: exiting now gzip: stdout: Broken pipe If I update just a single package there are no problems. Any hints about the cause of this are welcome.
