I don't know if icc/ifort 10.x is officially supported, but if it is
there is some trouble.
When linking libR.dylib I get
ld: multiple definitions of symbol ___umoddi3
/opt/intel/fc/10.0.017/lib/libirc.a(urem64_gcc.o) definition of
___umoddi3 in section (__TEXT,__text)
/usr/lib/gcc/i686-apple-darwin8/4.0.1/../../..//libgcc_s.10.4.dylib
(_umoddi3_s.o) definition of ___umoddi3
libtool: internal link edit command failed
If I force the link, there are additional multiple definitions in
linking some of the packages. Does
the build process still need flat namespaces -- using two-level
namespaces will take care of most
of the portability problems.
Also in 10.x the compiler flag -c99 is obsolete and must be replaced
by std=c99
