I'm wondering if its possible to install the 'rimage' package on a
Mac using R.app.
When I try installing the package from sources (CRAN) I get the error,
configure: error: Sorry, can't find fftw header
ERROR: configuration failed for package 'rimage'
.. and the package is not available as a binary. Does this mean that
it is OS specific?
Incidentally, I would like to import images into R for use in
graphics. I'm open
to other suggestions.
