Seems to me like a simple problem, but can't figure this out and have not seen
any posts dealing with this issue. When I use the built-in editor in R.app, I
am unable to execute a command using the <command>-<enter> shortcut. Nor am I
able to execute commands by selecting the "execute" option in the Edit menu.
If I press the <command>-<enter>, the Edit menu flashes in the menu bar, as if
it were trying to execute, but nothing happens. I can source an entire file
using the <command>-e shortcut, and complete text with the ^. stroke, but no
execution. Am I missing something?

MacBook Pro
OSX 10.4.10
R version 2.5.1, GUI version 1.20
