You have to use the GTK+ build that we are using (X11 build), because
the build from gtk-osx.org is still far from being stable.
You can download our build from

Eg. in Terminal:
curl -s http://r.research.att.com/libs/GTK+_2.14.3-X11-darwin8-bin2.tar.gz
\
sudo tar fvxz - -C /
An installer (.pkg in .dmg) should be available very soon.
