Apparently I was incorrect ... http://cran.cnr.berkeley.edu/ is still
showing 2.9.0 for Mac.

The pre-built Mac binaries for R 2.9.1 are already up on the CRAN
mirror network.
Is there a particular mirror where you are not seeing it?
