Loren:
If you don't absolutely need to use 2.9.1, I'd just make your life
easier and grab the working (I'm using it right now) R64 2.9.0 (which
includes the R GUI) in the Leopard build section:
http://r.research.att.com/R-2.9.0.pkg
Keep in mind if you've already installed R + some packages, you will
probably need to update (or downgrade) the ones you have...

Am sorry to ask but I cannot figure it out...
If I go to <http://r.research.att.com/> where I find
R-2.9-branch
R 2.9.1 Patched (2009-07-02) leopard Jul 3 04:50 i386: OK (log)
ppc: OK (log)
x86_64: OK (log)
ppc64: OK (log)
universal: OK
R-2.9-branch-leopard-universal.tar.gz (36Mb)
And then and do
curl s http://r.research.att.com//R-2.9-branch-leopard-universal.tar.gz |
sudo tar fvxz - - C /
Will I get 64 bit R2.9.1 and the 64 bit GUI?
And
Is there a .dmg file somewhere that will install 64 bit R2.9.1 and the 64
bit GUI and avoid the curl shuffle?
Thank you
