Incidentally, for anyone interested, I am giving a Neilly Series lecture at

Okay,  this is some lame self-back-patting, but it's old news so that lessens 
the  conceit of it a bit.  


I just found out the my only published work - "Under the Graying Sea" -  was 
a runner up for the 2007 Hugo (along with a dozen other novelettes),  and the 
#4 novelette in Asimov's for that year after Dijin's Wife, Yellow Card  Man, 
and Colours of the Earth. Sweet!
