kicks off their Science Fiction Month - they will be doing all kinds
of science fiction-y things during the month of March. If anyone wants
more information on getting into Second Life, please let me know.

This is advanced notice of an event which will happen on Saturday,
Feb. 28th.

The Sci-Fi & Fantasy Portal presents an in-world event in connection
with a real life conference.

Ursula Le Guin will read from her novel,  "Always Coming Home.

Starting at 3:30 pm, the Portal will stream in live video and audio
(into SL) of the Potlatch 18 Science Fiction Conference in Sunnyvale,
California.

We'll use the Open Air Auditorium on Info Island--down the grey
walkway -->center of Info Isl.
