Congratulations, Steve! That's a great sale. Nancy In a message dated 8/12/2009 3:29:20 P.M. Eastern Daylight Time, [email protected] writes:
Nature, the flagship British science journal, is a odd but major market for sf. It's last page is called "Futures" and features a one- page hard science sf story. With all the fear and furor about swine flu coming back in the fall I thought I'd take a chance and send them my short flu piece, "A Kiss Isn't Just a Kiss." When I heard back from the editor, Dr. Henry Gee, that his assistant actually at that moment truly had swine flu, I knew I was in. Amazingly, I was. I don't know when it'll appear but I think they're scheduling it soon since all the correspondence uses terms like ASAP.
