Hi, Folks. As Eric mentioned in a previous email, I have insanely--um, I mean enthusiastically--volunteered to be the R-SPEC Cruise Director--um, I mean Social Committee Chair. My main goal is to plan a retreat in the upcoming year. I will send out a survey in the near future to get your input on that. Also, the Board and I discussed planning some R-SPEC social gatherings this year--for example: movie night(s), theater night(s), picnic(s), or even just meeting up at a local coffee shop or pub once in a while. Something like a progressive dinner (or dessert) might be fun. A mystery dinner might also be fun. Our own novel writing month (I vote for June or July) might be fun. I encourage you to send me your ideas.
Speaking of movies: is anyone interested in going to see *The Adjustment Bureau*? If so, let me know if you'd like to meet up. We could plan to hang out for a bit after to talk about the movie. Also: coming up soon is EerieCon. It will be held April 29-May 1 at the Days Inn Niagara Falls. Registration is $40 until April 18 and $45 after that date and at the door. If you are (thinking of) going and would like to ride with others or have room in your car for others, let me or the group know and we'll try to arrange something.
