Hello all,
Quick question for you: I have dutifully submitted my story for
"Alternate Rochesters" before the midnight deadline (with 10 minutes to
spare) and got the following message after I clicked the Submit button:
"At this time, we do not plan to review submissions until after the
close of the submission period, on about June 15. We will let you know
whether your work has been accepted by about the end of September. If
you have not had notice by mid-October, please feel free to contact us.
Check the main anthology page for updates."
Scanning quickly through the R-Spec website, I don't see any notes or
news that confirm these dates -- they're a bit different from the 15
April 2011 response time and 31 May 2011 decision letters on the
anthology page.
Sooooo, in a nutshell, which set of dates is correct? Just managing
expectations here.

is hours of non-stop writing with an imminent deadline. So polish up
your sick voice for your boss, brew up a ton of coffee, close your
e-mail and web applications, and get busy!
Oh, and thank you to those who inoculated against Writers' Fever by
submitting already. :-D
